COMMUNITY RESIDENCE COUNSELOR
A Community Residence Counselor is responsible for
directly assisting our developmentally disabled residents with
activities associated with daily living, program goals and therapeutic
recreational activities in a group home environment. Minimum
qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid
driver license. Prior experience working in the human service field is
preferred but not necessary. Full time applicants must be able to
successfully complete a medication administration course.
DAY ASSISTANT
The Day Assistant is responsible for providing direct care services to
our consumers, maintaining the integrity of the group home
environment, and for ensuring that adequate food and supplies are
available at the group home. Minimum qualifications include a high
school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year?s experience
working with the developmentally disabled in a residential setting. A
Day Assistant must have and maintain a valid driver?s license, which
meets our Agency?s valid driver?s license criteria and be able to
successfully complete a medication administration course.
TEAM LEADER
A Team Leader is responsible for assisting consumers with activities
associated with daily living. The Team Leader works closely with the
House Supervisor in the planning and management of the daily routine.
The Team Leader should have a minimum of a high school diploma. An
Associates Degree and a minimum of one year of experience working with
the developmentally disabled are preferred. The Team Leader must have
a valid driver?s license and be able to successfully complete a
medication administration course.
ASSISTANT HOUSE SUPERVISOR
An Assistant House Supervisor is responsible for assisting the
consumers and staff with implementing activities of daily living. The
Assistant House Supervisor works closely with the House Supervisor in
the planning and management of the daily routine. Minimum
qualifications are an Associates Degree, and at least one year of
experience with the developmentally disabled. Consideration will be
given to those with a high school diploma, and three years of
experience with the developmentally disabled. An Assistant House
Supervisor must have a valid driver?s license and be able to
successfully complete a medication administration course.
HOUSE SUPERVISOR
The House Supervisor will provide day to day management
of ICF/IRA staff and residents. The House Supervisor is responsible
for ensuring the implementation of quality services and programs for
the consumers in the ICF/IRA setting. Minimum qualifications include a
Bachelors Degree in a related field, at least two years of experience
working with the developmentally disabled, and supervision of staff. A
valid driver?s license and reliable vehicle are required.
RESIDENCE NURSE
The Residence Nurse provides a
variety of clinical and administrative services in order to provide
for the optimum health of the consumers in our group home sites.
Minimum qualifications include a New York State license to practice as
a RN or LPN, a valid driver license. and a reliable vehicle. At least
one year of prior experience with developmentally disabled or similar
population preferred.
